  Wizard (Super-Soft) S-Series #8782

Please Note:
The color and "stamp" (disc image/logo) sent to you will vary from the picture shown above.

Please click here for more information.
The Super-Soft Wizard is made from the same phenomenal mold as the other Wizards, but in Gateway's softest plastic. This disc has a similar stiffness to a Discraft Soft Magnet. You will see why this disc was labeled the "Best all-around new disc on the market" in 2002. Please note that even though this is labeled the "Super-soft" Wizard, it is not floppy like a blowfly or similar super-soft plastic.

For straight flying approach shots, the Wizard has a very subtle fade at the end of its flight. This allows you to go for the basket on 50-100' shots without going very far past if you miss the chains. For putts, the Wizard holds whatever line you put on it with very little fade during its drop. Whether you use it for putts, approaches, or both, the Wizard is a very consistent and accurate disc that should find its way into your bag.

Features:

  • This Putter Feels Great in Your Hand!
  • Disc Flight:
  • - Flat: Straight
  • - Hyzer: Straight to Left
  • - Anhyzer: Right Curve

What is this sport anyway? Disc golf (also referred to as "frisbee golf") is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc, or FrisbeeŽ. The sport was formalized in the 1970s, and shares with "ball golf" the object of completing each hole in the fewest number of strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest number of throws). Currently, there are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
