  DB-5 Portable Target #4398

$25 in Free Lightning Discs (packaged with target) with Each DB-5 Purchased for the Holidays! The DB-5 (Disc Basket 5) portable basket shows that Lightning continues to be committed to providing quality products at affordable prices. In fact, the DB-5 features heavier construction than all of our other portable target. Lightning indicates that this great target has been constructed with permanent installation in mind, making this a great value for anyone looking to setup a course! This basket is PDGA approved, "hot dipped" galvanized, and contains 18 disc-grabbing chains. The chains are approximately 10% heavier than those on most baskets (according to manufacturer), reducing the need for a second set of chains. This great basket is made from 5 separate pieces: base, basket, chain rack, and 2 short poles. It all assembles quickly with 4 knobbed bolts with that screw into threaded holes in the pipes.

To keep our prices low, we have baskets shipped to you direct from the manufacturer. Therefore, please allow for additional time for shipment and delivery of baskets, as well as receipt of tracking numbers on these items.

What is this sport anyway? Disc golf (also referred to as "frisbee golf") is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc, or FrisbeeŽ. The sport was formalized in the 1970s, and shares with "ball golf" the object of completing each hole in the fewest number of strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest number of throws). Currently, there are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
