2007 US Disc Golf Championship (USDGC) DVD - Lead Group Live #15180

The USDGC has earned a place as one of disc golf's premier events through its "One Division One Champion" philosophy. This DVD just keeps getting better. And why not, the most renowned Disc Golf event of the year should only be accompanied by the best video production available. The 2007 USDGC DVD follows the lead card in their final round featuring Ken Climo, Dave Feldberg, Avery Jenkins, and Mike Randolph. Viewers are again provided w/ commentary during the round by Climo, Billy Crump, Feldberg, and Jenkins, all providing invaluable insight into what takes place on such a grand stage.

Along with great footage featuring three different camera angles, this DVD boasts a load of extras and bonus footage. Five different players are featured in a “what’s in the bag” special, giving viewers special access to the actual discs thrown during the round by these highlighted athletes. In addition to the “what’s in the bag” segments, Billy Crump personally tracks down some of the top pros to solicit charity items that will be put up on auction in order to benefit E.D.G.E. and Disc Golf United.

Become a part of this esteemed event by purchasing this video and watch to see if the Champ, Ken Climo, can achieve the unthinkable and fill his hand full of rings. This great package also includes a "caddy book" insert showing the layout of the entire Winthrop Gold Course - Very Cool.

What is this sport anyway? Disc golf (also referred to as "frisbee golf") is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc, or Frisbee®. The sport was formalized in the 1970s, and shares with "ball golf" the object of completing each hole in the fewest number of strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest number of throws). Currently, there are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
